At Dental Lodge we know what it needs to achieve the most natural and aesthetically pleasant smile.
Porcelain veneers can be described as tooth- shaped thin shells that get applied over the front facing of your teeth, to obtain different results:
Close gaps between teeth
Change shape, size or colour of teeth
Cover chipped edges and worn teeth
Cover old dental work
Straighten or broaden the smile
The smile transformation you deserve
The process of getting your porcelain veneers starts with a consultation where we discuss your needs and expectations.
We will take photos and digital scans of your teeth and provide you with a “trial set” of veneers for you to review and make adjustments to.
With your input, we will be able to customise your veneers' colour and shape to achieve your dream smile.
The veneer procedure
First visit
In this appointment we prepare the teeth to accept the veneers. If required, the dentist will create space to where the veneers will be placed and take a digital impression for the laboratory to manufacture you permanent veneers. You will leave on the day with some temporary veneers while your definitive ones get fabricated.
Second visit
You will return for a second appointment to have the temporary veneers removed and the final porcelain ones tried in for fit and aesthetics. Once we are all happy with how your smile looks, we permanently bond your veneers in place.
We will fabricate a removable retainer for you to wear at night time to protect your porcelain veneers and maintain all teeth in position.
It’s important to keep visiting us for your 6-monthly recalls to ensure your veneers remain glossy and fresh over time.
